Mediterranean Turkey Burger

Easy and cool recipe you will make again and again.

Materials


1 package of handmade Turkey Burgers from siakos.gr

(if you want to make more than 1 package remember to take more buns)



For the sauce

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ cucumber, grated
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill or 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

For the Burgers

  • 6 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 1½ cups of the sauce we made
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 100 grams of feta, crumbled

Step-by-step process:

  1. Make the sauce. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt, the cucumber after you have squeezed it to remove the excess water, the dill, the garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  3. Season the outside of the burgers with a little salt.
  4. Cook the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Toast the buns until they have the desired color.
  6. Assemble the patties. Layer the sauce, burger, tomatoes, lettuce, more sauce and feta on the toasted buns.
