Περιγραφή
Favorite and expressive sweet wine from Samos. It presents all the typical dynamism of the variety, emerging with beautiful aromatic games reminiscent of fragrant flowers and ripe summer fruits.
A spotlessly clean and delicious Samian dessert that consistently impresses its friends. It is a pleasure to drink and goes with all kinds of dessert, although it is a beautiful dessert on its own! Recipient of many awards and medals, most recently a silver medal at the Decanter Awards.
Vin Doux, belonging to the category of Vins de Liqueurs, is the most popular wine of Samos!
Both its appearance and aroma are particularly attractive, with a light golden color and aromas of apricot jam, overripe melon and hints of butterscotch dominating. The first contact with the mouth is explosive, with a feast of flavor aromas, revolving around the Muscat grape, expressed in an extremely fresh way. Vin Doux is a wine that retains all the original aroma of Muscat and encourages you to enjoy it greedily, with long sips. It is the perfect accompaniment to ripe melon, but it lends itself to many food or dessert combinations.

The most classic expression of Muscat. Vin Doux is the wine that made the muscat wines of Samos known in international markets. It is produced from ripe grapes of semi-mountainous vineyards, with the addition of 96% alcohol of wine origin to the must, shortly before or during fermentation. With this "cutting" of the fermentation, the natural sugars contained in the grape remain unfermented, thus creating a wine with a golden color and intense natural aromas reminiscent of flowers, honey or caramelized fruit. It is a type of wine intended to be consumed fresh and chilled at 8°–10°C, accompanying harmonious fruits, fresh or dried, light desserts and ice creams.
Tasting notes: Golden color. Intense and harmonious nose consisting, to a large extent, of primary aromas of flowers, fruits and honey. Soft and naturally sweet taste, with sweetness, which, however, is tied to the acidity of the wine. Aftertaste with a long duration.
