The intense aromatic character of this variety is well known. With MALAGOUSIA Cavalieri the aim was to achieve something special: the vinification temperatures were kept low and, thanks to contact with the lees after fermentation, the intensity of the monotonous terpenic character was lowered in order to achieve greater aromatic complexity.
The result is a wine with an intense nose of floral and herbal notes, along with light aromas of stone fruit and citrus fruits. The body is medium, with pleasant acidity and a long aromatic aftertaste.
