Cooking method: Bake at 180 °C for 45 minutes. Check during cooking and if necessary add water.
It is the so-called poulet basquaise. The special thing about this recipe is that it contains a lot of chili from a special variety of the Basque country.
It's called a hot Espelette pepper and takes its name from the village of the same name, near the Pyrenees Mountains, in Spain. The place lives by and for the espelette and the residents take care to dry it making it a tourist attraction.
