The Vourvoukelis family is steadily investing in the local Pamiti which seems to have a wide variety of stuff, giving extremely interesting red as well as white wines in their blanc de noir vinification.

In the Avdiros Rosé 2023 of the Vourvoukelis Estate, it meets a small percentage of Syrah, which mainly supports it in color. The residual sugars are at low levels, just what is needed to give it its semi-dry character that we loved so much.

On the nose, the sweet aromas of pomegranate, strawberry and sour cherry flood the glass accompanied by cherry, bubblegum and rose delight. Herbal notes of tea and hints of caramel emerge as it breathes.

Rich in the mouth, with a velvety, oily feel. The light, beautifully integrated sweetness is in perfect balance with the acidity that cools the mouth while the slightest tannic hints add complexity. The fruit takes off from the sweetness as strawberry, sour cherry and pomegranate dominate and linger on the long finish.
