Muscat Hamburg is a red variety. After nearly 100 years of cultivation in the Tyrnavos region, it has not only fully integrated into its environment, but has now been officially renamed Moschato Tyrnavos.
Dimitris Migas, on the other hand, is a man who loves his place. Shocking proof of the huge investment in the region's data in a winery with the most advanced technology in Greece. His ally in all this is the mild climate of the area and the ideal drainage of the 120-acre family vineyard.
His experience, the special terroir and a uniquely aromatic variety gave Dimitris Migas the impetus for the production of a white aromatic epic. The application of the blanc de noir method, i.e. the production of white wine from a red variety, gave birth to the white Muscat Tyrnavos Blanc de Noir of the Miga Estate.
How did he do that? By removing the skins from the grapes immediately after crushing, the coloring substances in the skin do not have time to pass into the must, leaving the wine white.
