Its aromatic profile is full of strawberry, cherry and floral notes, while its taste is fresh and balanced with a pleasant aftertaste of fruit.
Ideal to accompany Greek summer dishes, it is served chilled at 6-8˚C, offering a light and charming enjoyment experience.
Grenache (Garnacha) is a red wine variety, widely grown in France, Spain, Australia and the United States. It is highly versatile both in the vineyard and in the winery, which explains why it is one of the most widespread grapes in the world.
Grenache is the French (and internationally recognized) name for the variety, but it has a number of synonyms. In Spain, where it is one of the main varieties of the country, it is known as Garnacha, and in Sardinia it has been known for centuries as Cannonau.
In France, Grenache is widely planted in the southern Rhone Valley and throughout the Provence region and Languedoc-Roussillon.
In Spain, Garnacha is the second red variety, behind only Tempranillo. It is grown in almost all regions of Spain, but mainly in the north and east – it is the main variety of Priorat's recognized wines.
