The machete comes from the inside of the stone of a cherry of a wild variety of cherry. Its aroma is soft and traveling with notes of bitter almond and cherry.
We usually use it in the preparation of buns, but with a little imagination we can do wonders. Add some machele to the rice but also to the pumpkin soup and everyone will be wondering what the secret of the recipe is.
Store machete in an airtight jar to retain all its aromas. Use a small amount as the scent is strong.
