Roast chicken is one of the most classic Sunday and economical meals of the Greek family, which most of us love to eat usually in their classic version. However, you can upgrade this version with some useful tips.

But let's see how you can take off your chicken:

Do not cook chicken straight from the refrigerator

It is very important to leave the chicken for a short time, around 30 minutes, out of the refrigerator before cooking to ensure that the outside and inside of the chicken are at the same temperature and will cook evenly.

Season generously with salt and pepper

Don't skimp on the salt and pepper. Put plenty of both if you want a tasty chicken.

Use a variety of herbs

Use different herbs such as thyme, rosemary, oregano and give your chicken a stronger flavor. Upgrade the chicken even more by 'massaging' it with a mixture of herbs!

Spread it with butter or something greasy

To make the chicken juicy, brush it with something fatty, so it will acquire a delicious golden color and remain juicy. Don't forget to rub the spot between the meat and the skin, as most people only rub the surface and forget the hidden spots.

Grill the chicken on high heat

If you don't want your meat to dry out, DO NOT cook it at a low temperature for longer. Instead bake it at a higher temperature for less time!
