Almost certainly, most of them had leftover meat from Easter! Lamb or goat is meat that can be eaten in the next few days and is as if it has just been cooked, with only minor variations. One of the best ways to use leftover meat is a meat pie:
Materials
½ kilo of leftover meat
Salt Pepper
2 leeks
5 fresh onions
½ cup chopped dill
Olive oil
½ cup grated gruyere
1 puff pastry
1 egg for spreading
Implementation
Clean the leeks and boil them so that they soften
Then clean the onions, chop them and saute them with olive oil in a pan. Once the leeks have softened, add them to the pan with the onions
Season with salt and pepper
Then add the meat to the mixture and leave it for 3-4 minutes
As soon as you take it off the heat, throw in the dill
Preheat the oven to 180ᵒ
Open the puff pastry and oil it
Put the filling in the middle of the puff pastry and add the grated gruyere
Close the puff pastry
Put it on a tray with greaseproof paper and brush with egg
Bake for an hour
Good appetite!
