Beef stew is one of the most beloved dishes that evoke family dinners. With the right steps, you can make a stew with rich flavor and tender meat.

1. Choosing a Cut of Meat

For stew, choose cuts such as shoulder, loin, or shank. These cuts are ideal for slow cooking, as they soften and acquire a unique flavor.

2. Materials

1 kilo of beef

1 kilo of small onions for stew

Grated tomatoes or tomato sauce

Red wine, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, garlic and meat broth.

3. Preparation

Onions : Sauté the onions in olive oil until they soften and turn golden brown.

Meat : Sauté the veal until it has a crispy outer surface.

4. Cooking

Place the meat, onions and remaining ingredients in a pot. Simmer for 2-3 hours over low heat, gradually adding broth if necessary. Slow cooking is the key to making the meat tender.
