What we use to eat at large holidays of time


Christmas  

During this time, we often prefer to enjoy grilled meat, such as roast pork or chicken, at festive tables. Traditional recipes may also include special marinades or spices to bring out the flavor.

New year  

During the New Year, it is customary to enjoy "heavier" meats, such as pork on the carcass or beef on the carcass, which are accompanied by selected spices and a variety of vegetables. Also, the tables do not lack the classic pork fritters and various types of sausages.  

Easter  

During Easter, lamb is the dominant meat on Greek tables. The preparation of the lamb is associated with the Easter feast. Of course, the pork kontosouvli with its vegetables cannot be missing from the table. Finally, a well-known Greek dish, the kokoretsi.

Summer  

During the summer, the souvlaki is a must at every barbecue. The meat is usually either pork or chicken. In fact, most of the time they are served wrapped in different kinds of pies (wholemeal, corn, etc.) and accompanied by fresh vegetables and sauces.
