Creamy chicken with mushrooms and peppers from siakos.gr! Easy cream chicken that you can enjoy with rice. Delicious and juicy food with a delicious creamy ala creme sauce that will make everyone go crazy!
Materials
For the chicken ala creme
2 chicken breast fillets
4 tbsp olive oil
1 finely chopped onion
1 pc. garlic
300 gr. sliced mushrooms
3 colored peppers, chopped
1 tbsp flour
2 fl. chicken stock
1 fl. whipping cream
Salt Pepper (freshly ground)
A little parsley (chopped)
For the pilaf
2 fl. clove rice
2 tbsp olive oil
4 fresh chopped onions
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped dill
Salt Pepper
4 fl. chicken stock
For the chicken ala creme
First, cut the chicken breast into large pieces.
Heat the olive oil and brown the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes.
Add the onion and garlic and leave for 2 to 3 minutes until it becomes transparent.
Add the mushrooms and peppers and let them drink their liquid.
Sprinkle with flour and stir to cook for 2 minutes.
Then add the broth and let the chicken simmer, covered, until it drinks its liquid.
At the end, add salt and pepper.
Add the cream and simmer until thickened.
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
For the rice
Heat the oil and sauté the onion for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the rice and stir until it is oiled and glossy.
Pour in the hot broth and lower the heat.
Add salt and pepper and cover the pot.
Let it simmer until holes appear on the surface of the rice.
Finally add the chopped herbs.
Serve the chicken ala creme with rice.
