We all now rely on freezers for our food – from buying fresh vegetables and some fruit to storing leftovers from a meal. But when was the last time you opened your freezer to see how much food you've long left hidden in the ice?
Maybe it's time to check. Also, if your freezer needs defrosting, it's a good idea not to have too much food in it. Food, then, cannot be kept forever in the freezer – meat, for example, must be consumed within six months, and bread lasts only four to six months.
If they are left a little longer, the food will be safe again, but the color, taste and texture will begin to deteriorate

General instructions
– Do not refreeze food after you have already defrosted it once.
– You need to always follow the instructions on the package.
– Never freeze hot food, as this will cause the temperature inside the freezer to rise.
– Wrap and seal the food you freeze well to prevent moisture and cold air from coming into contact with the food.
– Use square bowls to store food. They are easy to store and take up less space
– When freezing liquids, leave some space to allow for expansion.
