Grill / BBQ / Frying Pan / Cast Iron
1️⃣ Remove the flap steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for 20–30 minutes .
2️⃣ Dry well with kitchen paper.
3️⃣ Brush with a little olive oil or neutral oil & season generously with salt and pepper.
4️⃣ Preheat the grill or pan over very high heat .
5️⃣ Bake:
• 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare (it is a thin cut),
• taking care not to overcook it to maintain juiciness.
6️⃣ Let the meat rest for 5–10 minutes on a cutting board.
7️⃣ Be sure to cut across the grain into thin slices – this is the key to perfect tenderness.
