🔥 Cooking Method (recommended – oven)

Baked goat with potatoes & lemon

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 170°C .
2️⃣ Lightly score the leg and add garlic (optional).
3️⃣ Season with salt and pepper and add olive oil , oregano , thyme and lemon juice .
4️⃣ Bake covered (grease/aluminum foil or casserole dish) for 2–2.5 hours .
5️⃣ Uncover and increase to 200°C for 15–25 minutes for nice browning.
6️⃣ Let the meat “rest” for 10 minutes before cutting it.

✅ Ready when the meat flakes easily and the juices run clear.


💡 Chef's Tip

• Goat loves slow cooking . Don't rush: "slow" is the secret to tenderness.
• If you want a more “marshmallow” flavor, add a little mustard to the marinade.
