✨ Description
"Shepherd's Package" is a dish inspired by traditional rural cuisine , where food was baked over embers, in parchment paper, and the aroma of herbs would emerge before the package was even opened.
Our recipe is made with:

Tender leg of lamb – marinated in wine, garlic & oregano

Multicolored peppers , lightly sautéed

Sweet onion , coarsely chopped

Authentic Cretan PDO gruyere – that melts and caramelizes when baked

All wrapped in parchment paper with a knot, ready to bake , like in the old days
The result is a surprise dish , with a rich flavor, aromas of herbs and melted cheese that "ties" all the ingredients.
🔥 Baking Method
The product comes wrapped in parchment paper – ready for the oven
➤ Oven (ideal way):

Without opening the parchment paper

Place on a baking sheet.

Bake at 180°C for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Optional: open in the last 10 minutes for browning
Do not add any additional liquids – the lamb melts in its own flavors.

Defrost in the refrigerator only, for 12–18 hours
