The Red Magic Mountain brings Greece as close as possible to Bordeaux. Deep ruby color with complex aromas of red and black fruits, tobacco and spices. One of the most sought after Greek red wines, it continues to impress with its aromatic complexity and cosmopolitan profile.
Nikos Lazaridis has created a timeless Greek Bordeaux blend, which has been established for years as one of the leading Greek reds. It is rich and exuberant, with excellent structure, excellent tannins and a long aftertaste. It is a must-have wine for even the smallest collection. Red meats and game are a classic combination for this wonderful wine.
Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, Cabernet Franc 50%.
Vinification–Aging: Classic red wine vinification of long post-fermentation extraction and increase in the ratio of pips/must with aging for 18-20 months in new oak barrels and then 18 months in a reducing environment in the bottle.
Storage - Aging: It can be aged 10-15 years from the harvest.
Taste Match: Drink at 16-18˚C, accompanying red meats with complex sauces, poultry and mountain game, as well as spicy cheeses.
