The Black Sheep, an eccentric name for a product that emphasizes its diversity and uniqueness. Its neo-cosmetic philosophy is evident both from its screw cap, its trendy appearance and the freshness that characterizes it. It is produced at the Makedon Winery in Platanotopos of Kavala, while the vineyards are located a short distance from the winery.
For the Black Sheep red we chose the Syrah and Merlot varieties, whose cultivation at the foot of Mount Pangaeus has brought very good results.
- Varieties: 60% Syrah, 40% Merlot.
- Vineyards: Foothills of Mount Pangaeus.
- Vinification – Aging: Classic vinification of red wine with a 4-6 month stay in pieces of oak wood.
- Oenological Analysis: Alcoholic Strength: 14.5%, Total Acidity: 5.25g/l, Reducing Sugars: 2.5 g/l, pH: 3.58
