Powdered sugar. A type of very fine granulated sugar that usually contains a 3% cornstarch so that it does not absorb moisture. Superior quality product. It is mainly used in the preparation of confectionery glazes and in general for the decoration of various sweets, such as royal icing or whipped cream, due to its immediate dissolution.
