🔥 Cooking Instructions
❗ The product is not ready to eat — full boiling/cooking is required before serving.
For Cooking & Boiling
1️⃣ Preparation
• Rinse the meat thoroughly under cold running water.
• If you want a “cleaner” broth, you can blanch it for 2–3 minutes in boiling water and discard the first water.
2️⃣ Basic Boiling
• Place the leg of lamb in a pot with cold water until it is covered.
• Add salt, pepper and vegetables (carrot, onion, celery or celery).
• Once boiling, reduce heat to medium to low.
• Skim the broth thoroughly to make it clear and transparent.
3️⃣ Cooking Time
• Boil for about 1.5–2 hours , until the meat becomes tender and easily falls off the bone.
4️⃣ For the Cook
• Use the broth and part of the meat as a base.
• Add rice, dill, spring onion & make a classic lemon egg salad at the end.
5️⃣ For Boiling / Soup
• Add vegetables (potatoes, carrots, celery) in the last 40 minutes.
• Adjust with salt, pepper & lemon before serving.
💡 Chef's Tip:
Let the broth cool slightly and skim off some of the fat from the surface, if you want a lighter result. You can use the rest for other recipes (e.g. baked potatoes).
