Vineyards on slopes with an altitude of 550-600 m above sea level, with South-West exposure.
The climate is influenced by the winds of the Ionian Sea and is temperate with mild winters and cool summers.
The soils are mainly stony limestone, barren, sloping with good drainage.
Vinification/Maturation
A combination of the Merlot variety with the indigenous Vlachiko variety. After the grapes have been pressed, the must remains with the stems for a few hours at a low temperature. The vinification is then carried out in chilled tanks until the end of the alcoholic fermentation. The wine remains in contact with its lees for a few months, gaining structure and body.
Flavor characteristics
Attractive rose color. Aromas of red fruits with notes of sweet spices on the nose.
Fruity in the mouth with a rich aromatic expression dominated by aromas of forest fruits.
Light body and refreshing acidity. Beautiful and sweet aftertaste.
Recommended combinations: Pasta, mushroom risotto, Burger.
