❗ The product is not ready to eat — full cooking is required before serving.
Baked in the oven
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 180–190°C .
2️⃣ Place the chicken in a baking dish, with potatoes or vegetables (carrot, onion, peppers) if desired.
3️⃣ Season with salt and pepper, add lemon, olive oil, oregano, thyme or rosemary .
4️⃣ Bake for approximately 60–80 minutes (depending on weight), until:
• the juices should come out clear,
• there should be no pink color near the bone.
5️⃣ If needed, add a little water or broth to the pan during baking.
6️⃣ Let it rest for 10–15 minutes before cutting it, so that the juices remain in the meat.
For casserole / soup
• Cut the chicken into portions.
• Boil in cold water with salt & vegetables (onion, carrot, celery).
• Skim off foam, reduce heat and simmer until tender.
💡 Chef's Tip:
To really bring out the flavor of organic Pindos chicken, keep the recipe simple : good olive oil, lemon, salt, pepper, a little oregano or thyme. The meat itself makes the difference.
