Pindos Free Range Chicken
Free Range chickens come from traditional slow growing breeds (red feathers, yellow skin). They are raised on corn-based feed (70%) in aviaries with access to open air and at an altitude of 600 meters.
They are slaughtered on the 60th day after birth. Their breeding process is in accordance with Regulation (EEC) 2092/91, and has been certified by the control and certification organization for special poultry farms AGROCERT.
The process of slaughtering and standardization of the products is in accordance with Regulations (EEC) 852/2004, 853/2004, 854/2004, 178/2002 and Directive 2000/13/EC. The management and safety system ISO-22000 is also applied at all stages of production.
