Portobello Mushrooms Stuffed with Chicken are the perfect “one pan – the whole dish”: large, meaty portobellos that hold up wonderfully when baked and are filled with a mixture that smells of Greek cuisine and comfort flavor.
Pindos chicken fillet , olive oil , chopped bacon for extra flavor, colorful peppers , onion , and finally the ultimate "tie": feta and gruyere cheese that melt and make the filling creamy, filling and delicious.

They come out juicy, aromatic and filling , ideal either as a main course with salad/potatoes, or as an impressive appetizer on the table.

🔥 Cooking Method

Baking in the oven

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 180°C .
2️⃣ Place the stuffed portobello mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3️⃣ Bake for 18–25 minutes (depending on size), until the mushrooms are soft and the cheese is melted/browned.
4️⃣ Let stand for 3–5 minutes before serving.

✅ Make sure the chicken is fully cooked in the center.


💡 Chef's Tip

• If you want a more “golden” surface, put 2 minutes on the grill at the end.
• Serve with a few drops of olive oil and freshly ground pepper.
