In Australia it is called Spider Steak, in America it is known as Oyster Steak because its shape resembles an oyster, in England as Pope’s Eye Steak, while in France it is called Araignée and is a particularly beloved cut in many restaurants.
It is a small but extremely tasty piece, with natural marbling and an intense beef flavor that makes it ideal for quick grilling or pan-frying.
