Easy recipe for the most delicious slow-cooked lamb in the oven with potatoes. Try it and you won't regret it!
Materials
1 leg of lamb
¼ cup olive oil
Juice of 2 lemons
1 kilo of baby potatoes
2 small red onions
3 cloves of sliced garlic
Thyme, oregano, salt, pepper
Step by step
Bring the meat to room temperature at least half an hour before cooking
Preheat the oven to 220°
Put the meat in the pan
Add the potatoes to the pan and add oil, half the lemon juice, oregano, salt and pepper
In a blender, mix the remaining lemon juice, oil, thyme, garlic and onions and spread the mixture over the meat and potatoes in the pan
Place the tray in the oven and after 15 minutes lower the temperature to 150° and cover with aluminum foil
Leave the tray inside with the aluminum foil for an hour
Remove the aluminum foil and bake for another hour and a half
